Performance of Cotton, Cotton-Polyester, and Polyester-Elastane Fabrics Impregnated with Ultrafine Polymeric Nanoparticles Loaded with Lavender Oil

چکیده

Lavender oil- (LO-) loaded ultrafine nanoparticles (NP) ( diameter < 50 nm ) of a copolymer were used for impregnating fabrics cotton, cotton polyester, and polyester-elastane. The was composed mainly methyl methacrylate (MMA) units with low proportion methacrylic acid (MAA). Moreover, two kinds NP used: one containing uncrosslinked another crosslinked material. All the impregnated keep aroma up to 25 washes. Under storage at ambient conditions, either or emitted almost 60 days. long duration emission from is attributed ease small in this study penetrating staying inside pores fabric fibers.
